Ken Stalcup

Ken Stalcup is a Senior Director with Houlihan Valuation Advisors, a national firm of consultants providing business valuation and litigation support services.  In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Ken is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and is Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) and Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV).

With over 30 years of professional audit and accounting experience, Ken’s practice has focused on providing audit, litigation support and valuation services to a variety of clients.  His experience has included managing audit and accounting engagements for publicly and privately held clients in service organizations, in manufacturing, construction, financial services and in governmental and non-profit organizations.  Ken has also managed several high-profile fraud and forensic cases.  These cases have included embezzlement cases, shareholder disputes, theft of intellectual property cases and Ponzi schemes.   He has testified in trial courts and arbitration settings to present his findings.

Ken is the author of several published articles on business valuation and fraud prevention and detection.  His articles have been published in Family Lawyer Magazine, Fraud Magazine and in The Matrimonial Strategist.  His speaking engagements have included guest lecturer teaching assignments at Anderson University, IUPUI, Ball State University and the INCPAS Scholars Program.  He has also had industry speaking assignments with the Indiana CPA Society, the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

A graduate of Butler University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Ken is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.   Ken was a founding member and the former Board Chair and Chapter President of the Northeast Indiana / Northwest Ohio Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. 

Ken lives in Whitestown, Indiana and is married to Carolyn.  They have two sons, Michael and Daniel.
