. . . is a Principal with Houlihan Valuation Advisors, a national firm of valuation and capital consultants. William’s professional background includes a number of financial management positions with analytical responsibilities. William is a former Financial Planner with Prudential, receiving his MBA diploma in 2005 from DePaul University and his Bachelor’s in Business Administration at Illinois Wesleyan in 1999. William is currently a candidate with the American Society of Appraisers working towards his “Accredited in Business Valuation” (ABV) designation. He has completed the Business Valuation courses BV201N, BV202N, BV203N, and BV204N offered by the American Society of Appraisers.

Since leaving financial planning in 2004 William has put forth considerable time to understanding the in’s and out’s of business valuation. Under Mr. Allan L. R. Lannom’s guidance, William has successfully completed and defended business appraisals concerning most facets of valuation, including but not limited to: business valuation, family limited partnerships, intangibles, gift and estate tax, and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs). In the fall of 2015, William became a principal and owner of Houlihan Valuation in the Chicago office.
